My role: strategic design consultant naming and nbranding

BIG Capital and the founders of a start-up behind a new cosmetic concept and -system approached me to help find a name and create branding and packaging concepts for what has become ‘Nuria’ beauty.

 

I worked with the investors and Josh Ghaim, a 20-year veteran of the CPG industry. They previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Johnson & Johnson Consumer and have been one of the key founding members behind the incubator Ignitebeauty, which created the model and technology behind his start-up, now called Nuria beauty.


About the case study

Included are the work related to the branding, naming and packaging design of Nuria beauty and a design presentation for an application concept. I identified and hired external talent and creative agencies. I also hired an agency and worked with them to find a suitable name for the company, and we decided to name it nuria as it reflected the values of the company, the qualities of the product, and was a trademark we could secure. Please note: Nuria’s current, live website is not my work. It has been created by a different team after I finished the initial design.
